Víctor Barceló (1991) is a versatile percussionist and improviser whose work ranges from classical percussion to experimental avant-garde music. He works across a wide spectrum, from purely acoustic material to theatre productions, electronic projects, and multimedia collaborations. His music and artistic approach are shaped by diverse influences, including free jazz, the Wandelweiser collective, and club culture electronic music. He has worked with composers such as Michael Maierhof, Simon Steen Andersen, Stefan Prins, Marko Ciciliani, Jürg Frey, Hannes Seidl, Alberto Bernal, Georges Apperghis, Mathias Spahlinger, Philippe Manoury and many composers from his generation.
Between 2014-2016 he was percussion teacher at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Canarias and currently teaches at the Konservatorium Winterthur.
